Terms

The agreement between you and YR Labs LLC for using ugcjobs.io. Plain language on purpose — if a clause here is doing something you would not expect, it is written badly and we want to hear about it at hello@ugcjobs.io.

What the service is

ugcjobs.io is a list. We find companies that buy creator video, work out which niches they buy in, attach what is publicly known about them — social accounts, a contact, whether they are currently running video ads — and keep it current. You decide who to write to, and you write to them yourself.

What it is not

  • Not a marketplace. Nobody at a brand browses your profile here, and no brief is routed to you.
  • Not an agency or a manager. We do not represent you, negotiate for you, or take a cut of anything you land.
  • Not an employer or a client. Any work you get is a contract between you and that company, and we are not a party to it.
  • Not a promise of work. We remove the hunting. We do not promise that a brand replies, hires or pays, and nobody selling a list honestly can.

Your account

You need to be 16 or older and able to enter a contract. Sign-in goes through Google; keep that account secure, because anyone who has it has yours. One account is for one person — teams that need seats should write to us rather than sharing a login.

Paying

  • The free account browses. Pro unlocks contacts, signals and the full list.
  • Pro is $29 a month, or $19 a month paid yearly (Billed annually at $228).
  • Payment runs through Stripe. We never see your card number.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time and you keep access to the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Changed your mind? Write within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it, no argument. That is on top of any statutory right you have as a consumer.
  • If we change the price, we tell you before the renewal it applies to, and you can cancel instead.
  • Tax is added where the law requires it.

How you may use the list

Your subscription buys you the use of the list for your own creator work: researching brands, deciding who fits, and pitching them yourself. That is broad, and it stops at the point where you are handing our work to other people or turning it into volume.

  • Do not resell, republish or share the list, in whole or in part, and do not use it to build or feed a competing database.
  • Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-export the app, and do not automate access to it. The interface is what you bought.
  • Do not upload the contacts into a bulk-mail tool to blast them. The pitch is meant to be yours.

When you write to a brand

The contact is yours to use, and how you use it is your responsibility. Email law applies to you as the sender: identify yourself honestly, keep the subject line true to the message, honour an unsubscribe or a request to stop the first time it arrives, and respect whatever rules apply where you and the recipient are — CAN-SPAM in the United States, the GDPR and PECR in Europe and the UK, and their equivalents elsewhere.

We may suspend an account that generates spam complaints, sends deceptive mail, or gets our data sources or domains blocklisted. This is not us policing your tone. It is that a list everybody blasts stops working for everybody on it.

What the data is, and is not

Everything in the list is gathered from public sources and carries the date we last saw it. Signals go stale, companies change staff, and an address that worked last month can bounce today. We work hard on freshness and we do not warrant accuracy: check a contact before you build a plan on it.

A brand appearing here does not mean it is hiring, that it has a budget, or that it has heard of us.

Who owns what

The site, the software and the compiled list are ours. Your subscription is a licence to use them, not a transfer of them.

Everything you make is yours: your pitches, your videos, the relationships you build. We claim nothing in your work and take no share of what it earns.

Availability

We aim to keep the service up and we do not promise a percentage. Data providers change their terms, sources go dark, and features get rebuilt. If we retire something you are paying for and do not replace it, tell us and we will refund the unused part.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is not urgent we will say what the problem is first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of what you paid.

Liability

If we get something wrong, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for work you did not win, revenue you did not make, or a brand that never replied.

Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including our own fraud, and nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to you — price, what you may do with the list, how disputes are handled — we email account holders before it takes effect, and carrying on using the service after that is how you accept it. If you would rather not, cancel and we refund the unused part.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of [STATE OR COUNTRY], and its courts have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law where you live and can bring a claim in your own courts.

Before either of us goes anywhere near a court, write to hello@ugcjobs.io. Almost everything is a misunderstanding about a charge or an account, and those get fixed the same week.
