What is a UGC rate card?

A rate card is a one-page price list you send to brands. It says what you make, what it costs, and what's included. It saves you from writing prices from scratch in every chat, and it makes you look like you've done this before.

What to put on your rate card

  • Your name and what you make, like "skincare videos".
  • A link to your best videos. It must open without a login.
  • Your price for 1, 3 and 5 videos.
  • Extras with their own price: paid ads, raw clips, ads from your account, fast delivery.
  • What's included: length, changes, and when it's ready.
  • How to reach you.

Leave off your follower count. Brands pay for the video, not your audience.

How to send it to brands

Email: attach the PDF and write two lines, like "Here are my rates. Happy to make a package for you." Instagram or TikTok: send the image.

Send it when a brand asks for your rates or says they're interested. In a first email, one video that fits their product works better than a price list.

Not sure about your prices?

Our UGC rate calculator explains each price: why ads cost more, what raw clips are worth, and what to answer when a brand offers free product.

Questions creators ask

What should a UGC rate card include?

Your name and what you make, a link to your videos, your price for 1, 3 and 5 videos, extras like paid ads or raw clips, what's included in the price, and how to reach you. One page is enough.

Should I put prices on my UGC rate card?

Yes. A rate card without prices makes the brand write back to ask, and many won't. Clear prices also stop you from dropping your number in the middle of a chat.

Should I send my rate card as a PDF or an image?

PDF when you email a brand: it opens anywhere and the link inside is clickable. Image when you message a brand on Instagram or TikTok, or want to add it to a Canva or Drive portfolio.

Do I need followers to make a UGC rate card?

No. Brands pay for the video, not for your audience, so followers don't belong on a UGC rate card. Show a link to your best videos instead.

When should I send my rate card?

When a brand asks for your rates, or when they say they're interested. In a first email to a brand, one video that fits their product and one idea usually work better than a price list.

How often should I update my rate card?

Every few jobs. When brands say yes to your price right away, it's usually time to raise it.
